Hey All,
First of all, thank you all so much. There has been a great response to the 15$ filament release. It looks like it will meet quota to where we will be able to keep pricing there for a bit without a relapse. We have to hit certain scale milestones at each release in order to keep rolling.
In fact the response has been so good that we have the reverse problem. We are shipping slower than we thought. We prepped for a particular amount based on previous releases, but we think somone must have shared it on reddit. Because we are now behind.
The Tangled extruder is running a double-shift to get caught back up.
On the product listing it does show that shipping can take 7-14 days. But in reality we were looking to ship within 3-6 days. We are about a day behind that. Still well within what we promise. But not what we want.
We think we will be fully caught up on all orders by 5/23. So if you have been waiting for an update on your order please wait until then.
Aside from that we have gotten a few questions that we would like to address.
When will it ship? Answer: See Above
Why is it so good? In our black we use virgin PLA, most other manufacturers use regrind for Black. But that creates a lower quality and lower temp print.
Spooless? Working on It.
Other Colors? Be Patient
Other Materials? PETG Coming in future. Near or far is still ambiguous.
Review
We have beene getting a lot of great messages. So we did want to share one of them with you. Josh actually included photos so he wins. Thanks so much for the review Josh, at this point we aren't taking on investors, but maybe soon.

I’ve paid close attention to the tips and tricks to using Tangled filament. The charismatic guy (perhaps I’ve missed his name) on the channel says some people have difficulty printing it because it demands a higher temperature and it’s tougher.
I’m attaching two photos of a temp tower I ran as a first print with my new 3kg roll. I can confirm the temperature did reduce during the print.
The ONLY issues I can see is slight drooping on a couple bridges and some angel hair that a hair drier or a stuff breeze could remove. It appears strong throughout and only with 10% infill. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a whole tower look this good.
The only problem I had using your filament was I had nothing strong enough to hold the spool. I printed up a roller stand that can handle the weight, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Tangled will dominate the market if so desired, and will no doubt be a name everyone knows.
Are there investment opportunities?
Hoping for more colors and looking forward to the PETG.
I’m astonished at the quality for the price and you guys JUST dropped the price another $3 /kg if I understood that correctly. I can’t say enough good things about this single purchase.
Thank you.

I agree, great stuff. I had the opposite experience, I was running too hot. Almost everything PLA, I print at 220. I had two jams, so temp tower it was. I had to go down to 215 and it was magic. Prints great at 300mm/s. Thanks for a great product!
