Tangled Black Filament in 4kg Spools is here.

Hey everyone, so we have some exciting news.

Our pretty good black PLA filament, is now back in stock. This batch is available in larger 4kg spools, offering more filament per purchase.

We named this one the print farm spool. We offer two purchase options; either a single 4kg spool or a three pack of 4kg spools.

So the reasons for this spool. You all know that we are working to drive the cost of Filament down to $10 per KG. That it hard. But it requires that everything about the format change.

The large format spool lets us put the maximum amount of material on a single spool. This reduces the cost of the spools (not to mention the waste) because we have fewer spools. It also reduces the labor of having to fill multiple spools. All of that turns into savings.

• More machine up time (since it doesn't pause and wait at midnight)

• Less risk of compromised vacuum seal (Since there are not multiple spools to rub against each other in a box)

This batch we are also desperately trying to not run out of stock. We have planned production accordingly.
