We're Experiencing Technical Difficulties - Production Delay

Thank you so much for the response to the 4KG spools. It has been awesome. And thank you for the support.

But as they say "No good deed goes unpunished." The Tangled Extrusion Line Broke.

We are rushing parts in to get it back online to make sure all orders ship in a timely manner. (Subscriptions and New Orders). But something else might go wrong.

Here's what happened.

Last week we were running production when the die of the extruder started cooling down, even though it was turned on. That's not good.

After doing some checks we found that the Heater Band of the extruder has burnt out. We have a replacement incoming (Thank you Ebay). And it should be back online by wednesday. We are also working with the manufacturer to get in 2-10 spares of any other remotely consummable parts on the machine so we don't have this problem in future.

If worst comes to worse we will refund any orders that are outstanding until we get the machinery fixed.

We are very sorry for the trouble guys. Apparently we are not out of the shakedown phase from last fall.

But on the plus side, we are still reducing the cost of filament. We think we can get it below $15 here in the next couple of months once we get back up and running continuously.
