PCTG is a material meant to be a replacement for PETG and ABS. It is durable but does not absorb moisture like PETG creating cleaner prints that are far more robust.
- Standard Black ProPCTG
- 1.75 diameter (+/- 0.05mm)
- 1KG of filament per spool (3 spools in a box)
So Why 3KG. Well It lets us make it cheaper. Larger spools let us reduce the number of spools used and the number of man-hours in making a spool of material. This all creates savings that we can pass on to you.
It is ridiculous that US manufactured commodities like filament are not more competitive with foreign options. We are working to change that.
And if you are Totally new to PCTG here is a good summary video

Reviews
The filament arrived dry and ready to print. Stable at 15% humidity in my dry box. Printed well with Generic PCTG presets for a quick test part.
Printed a Clockspring Torture Toaster overnight. No issues with bed adhesion. 0.1mm tolerance fused; 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5mm tolerance pegs fell out during testing. Looks like 0.2mm is the sweet spot. Overhangs are stable up to 60°. No signs of stringing.
Overall, good material.
I just received my first package of 3 1KG spools and printed a functional part that I have been using ABS, turned out as well and maybe better. I am experimenting with temps, testing 270c and 80c using a coated build plate in my Elegoo CC. No problems with warping, but these are small parts. Seems like good filament
